What customers say?

“ Absolutely one of the best restaurants I’ve eaten at in France. I ate here three consecutive nights, having exquisitely prepared varied, fresh meals every night. The only problem being I couldn’t eat enough. Can’t rate this highly enough. Maxime is a wizard in the kitchen. ”

“ We dined on an exceptionally busy Thursday evening and ordered only one main course per person. I thoroughly enjoyed the smoked duck breast and the fish of the day (scallops). Perfect seasoning and very tender. However, the sirloin steak was tough and difficult to finish. ”

“ Loved this place. We visited for lunch with friends and well worth the ski down (and 100mtr walk) to Villaroger from Arc2000. Excellent food, great venue and atmosphere. The boot warmers and slippers were a nice added bonus . Excellent value and quality home cooked, local food. Sorry...no photos this time...as couldn't wait to tuck in!!! ”

“ We ate here on the last day of our ski holiday and it was deemed my most of the group to be the highlight of the trip. The entire experience was utterly sensational. The food had everyone making noises and faces, and passing aroung forkfuls to each other. The service was attentive and warm. You are in extremely safe hands here. One of the finest dining experiences I've ever had. ”

“ A little gem - excellent food and amazing owner. We took the recommendation from Google Maps as a change from the usual restaurants in Bourg Saint Maurice and it was a lovely surprise. Full marks for variety of menu, full marks for quality of food, full marks for wine and beer selection, full marks for atmosphere and last but not least FULL MARKS for the owners - so sweet, accommodating and cheerful. Their Vitello Tonnato hmmmmm excellent ”

“ Came here the last day for lunch before leaving our Chalet. The available parking was not immediately clear but the owner was kindly pointed out for us once we went inside and asked. Food was fantastic. They do a menu board in English and another in French. For starters, we had French onion soup, Charcuterie plate & cheese, and snails cassolette with cream garlic cider. All very good even our 5 yr old loved the onion soup and the snails!!! For the mains we had Veal onglate, Pigs trotters (this place is very famous for this dish), and Duck confit with mashed potatos for our 5 year old. All tasted wonderful, my daughter polished her duck confit!! With a couple of drinks, all came to €110. Very reasonable price! We booked a table for 12:00 and it got really busy (full) 30mins later, with many skiers coming in for lunch. The place is very very small, with good art decor, but it has boots warmers for ski boots and a very big and clean (but cold) toilet. Locals advised us to book in advance if you want to go here. ”
